About Format Champ

Format Champ is a free, browser-based toolkit for the everyday work of formatting, validating, and converting structured data — JSON, XML, YAML, and SQL — plus comparing text with the Diff Checker, querying JSON with JSONPath, and encoding text with the Base64 and URL encoder tools.

The goal is simple: give developers a fast, no-friction place to paste in messy code and get a clean, readable result back, without creating an account, installing anything, or waiting on a slow page. Every formatter, validator, and converter on this site runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript — your code and data are processed locally and are never uploaded to a server as part of using these tools.

Format Champ is an independently built and maintained project. It isn't backed by a large company, and it doesn't claim reviews, ratings, or endorsements it hasn't actually earned — what you see on the site is what it is: a set of tools built to be useful.
